Can anyone tell me where to find the will(s) of Richard Sperry and his wife? Some years ago I contacted the New Haven Colony Historical Society who has the orginals on hand, but what I got in return was lacking: rather than the will of Dennis, all I got was a small portion of a page that was her inventory; for the will of Richard ( I think it was) there was only one page and it looks like it was only part of the will. I am heading over to SLC next month and would like to cut to the chase to the film that have these documents on them...I have been wondering if there are any names mentioned therein that might give us a clue as to who Dennis was? Not sure why people are still showing her as a Goodyear when I have never seen anything to make us think she was in the first place, but I have been "haunted" by the possibility that she was a daughter of someone named (-Mr--) Richard. I saw this long ago in a Boston Transcript and it keeps popping up in my mind. Has anyone been able to prove she was not? I am still lacking a marriage date/place for this couple; I have just done a search and found many sites w/information and the dates range from 1616 - 1647 and either in England or New Haven.
