MARTHA SPIDELL FRAKES
Mrs. Martha SPIDELL FRAKES, 92, died Monday morning, Dec. 16, at her home, 602 E. Fourth street. She had been in fairly good health for one of her age and had been up and around the house until recently. Her two sons, Nathan P. and James E. Frakes, also one grandson, Nathan R., comprised the immediate family. Her husband, Wm. F. Frakes, died in 1894.
Mrs. Frakes was a daughter of George and Mary Barber SPIDELL, and was born at Vandalia, Fayette county, Ill., in the year 1854. She had been a resident of Ottawa County since 1912.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the R.S. Todd Funeral Home with Rev. Geo. C. Stewart of the Baptist church officiating. Burial was in Highland cemetery.
