Raymond D. Spinelli July 12, 1920 - Nov. 15, 2007 A long time Menlo Park Realtor, Ray Spinelli, passed away on November 15, 2007 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Lorraine, daughters D'Ann Burns (Jim), and Debra Spinelli (Carol Cetrone), grandchildren Jennifer Denzel (Jason), Jeremy, Maggie, and Caitlin Burns, great-grandchildren Avey and Lexy Burns, Aidan Denzel and baby Denzel on the way, his sister Gloria Schussel (Ken), and many nieces and nephews. Ray was a major contributor to organized Real Estate. He was twice president of the Menlo Atherton Board of Realtors and also was both a Treasurer and President of the CA Association of Realtors. Ray served as a Director of the National Association of Realtors for many years as well. Ray taught Real Estate for over 20 years at Anthony Schools, Menlo College, Adult School programs, and the California Association of Realtors. He loved to teach and many of his students became successful Realtors. To the date of his demise many sought his guidance. Ray attended S.F. schools including Marshall, Everett (9th grade president), Mission and earned his BA degree at Golden Gate College. Ray always credited his Junior High teacher, Victorine Agness Murphy for the leadership qualities he enjoyed. He was also a veteran of the United States Navy. Friends and family are invited to a celebration of Ray's life at a visitation on Monday November 26th from 5-8 p.m. and attend a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. at Crippen & Flynn Woodside Chapel, 400 Woodside Road, Redwood City. A Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, November 27th at 10 a.m. at St. Pius Catholic Church, 1100 Woodside Road, Redwood City. Friends who wish to make a contribution are directed to: Childrens Homes Society, Salvation Army, Boys Town, Redwood City Kaiser Hospice, or their own favorite charity. God Love You All.
