My mother,Jean Spiro was brought up by her grandmother Gladys Irene Crosier/Spiro,and Steven(Stephen) Spiro in Brockton Ma in 1930's....she was given the last name Spiro...Her Grandfather was Albanian and his last name was too difficult to pronounce, so he used HIS Fathers first name,"Spiro" as his last name....I am currently seeking out my relatives to see if anyone remembers his real last name....
