Anyone have any information about the marriage and family of "Aleck Davidson" (32 years old; also spelled "Davison" in another section of the marriage certificate but there are compelling reasons to believe that is a mistake, see below) and "Ribena Spooner" (age 39) in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois on 7 Oct 1915? I believe that "Ribena Spooner" was born "Rubinia Elizabeth Spooner" to "Thomas Spooner" and "Margaret Muir" in Ontario, Canada on 1 Mar 1873. She is on the 1920 US census as "Rubina Davison" in Chicago,Cook County, IL as "married" and with a daughter, "Dorothy Davison" (born c 1917). I know this is the "Rubina Spooner" I have been researching because her sons by a previous marriage (Healey) are there as well. In a 1942 document, she signed her last name "Healey Davidson", so I do think that and not "Davison" is the correct last name. There may have been another child, "Francis Davidson". I have been unable to find anything else about her husband and their family nor have I been able to locate them on the 1930 US (Illinois)Census, although that 1942 document persuades me that they stayed in Chicago. There is a 1950 death certificate for a "Rubina Davidson", age 78, in Chicago which may be her but I cannot access it.
