SEIZED A WATCH AND RAN.

A vagrant and confessed drug addict was arrested yesterday
afternoon, following a chase by Norman FRANK, motor cycle
patrolman, after he had taken a gold watch and chain from a
vest pocket of W. B. SPOTTS, 525 North Topping avenue.

SPOTTS had been walking south on Locust street, when, at
Sixth street, the vagrant stopped him and grabbed the watch
and chain. As SPOTTS chased the man he was joined by
FRANK, who was off duty. FRANK caught the man at Sixth
street and Independence avenue, recovered the watch and
took the prisoner to police headquarters.
