My wife descends from the Springston(stone)(steen)s of Spencer County, IN
I understand that these were not related to the Southern bunch who had Cherokee blood. Wife's grandmother, Garcia Ethyl Springston, said her family was "Indians" but we never got any more detail.
Does anyone know of any connection with the Cherokee and the Northern branch of Springstons.
