Samuel A. Sprowls was listed in the Washington Co. Alms House/County Home in the 1880 census and the 1900 census. Does anyone know who he is? I am searching for Asher Sprowls who was not with his family in 1880 census in West Pike Run, Washington Co., Pa.
Ashers wife was Eliza Slusher b. about 1835; children were Elmer E. b. 1865; Isaac S. b. about 1868; Laura E. b. 1869 and married Noah Carson; Walter H. b. 1871; Ida A. b. abt, 1875; Burt A. b. abt. 1876; Jennie b. abt. 1878.
Asher, Eliza, Elmer, Isaac, and burt are buried in Maple Creek Cem. in Lover/Charleroi. Elmer married Mary and had daughter Magdelina (she married John Edminston) and Mary and Magdalena are also buried in Maple Creek.
