Joel's wife wasa Mary ("Polly") Barger, not Nancy. I have John's name as John Campbell in one place, John Cameron in another. Anyhow, he was called "Cam". Saline County was not formed until 1847. I believe it was Jefferson County Mary and sons first came to in illinois.--- Ken
