Classification: Query
Surnames: St. Andre, St. Andrie, St. Andry, St. Andria and St. Andrea
I moved to Weatherford from Grayson, LA where I retired after being the postmasteer of Columbia, LA. We moved here in 1996 and love Texas. Some of the St. Andre clan that I spoke with were from the Grans Rapids area. I know that one of the former City Councilmen of Grand Rapids is a direct descendent of Charles St. Andre. I will try to get the disc run off and send it to you this week and you can use it. The reason that I don't e-mail it is the security problem with personal information that is contained. In the Houston area there are several St. Andry clan members from the families that settled in Riviere aux Canes in Natchitoches, LA. We definitely are from the same forefathers for Pierre dit St. Andre Botquin was the only Pierre I could locate in the original family tree and he settled in the Quebec area around Montreal and Boucherville. Glad to meet you and though they call me Cajun around here, our family greeted the Cajuns when they arrived in Louisiana.
Lots of wishes for you and your family for the New Year and I'll be waiting to hear from you.
Lester
