I will try to answer your question as best I can. Lesime Onseme St. Andre married a Suzanne, a slave and they had 5 children. SanVille St. Andre was a descendant of this union and he fought in the Civil War (Confedirate Army) along with Sephanor St. Andre and they were both POW before they were released under amnesty. There was also a Andre St. Andre and M. St. Andre in the CSA. There were some of the same family from the Northern states that fought for the Union and I often wonder if they ever fought against each other. Onesime also had 2 children by another wife, before divorcing her and marrying Suzanne.
