CHANDLERSVILLE: Wilbert (Bill) Eugene St. Clair of Chandlersville, Ohio fondly known to many as "Pappy", passed on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at the Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville, OHIO.
Born in Morgan County, OHIO on January 28, 1937.
He was the son of the late Howard St. Clair and Josephine Lyons.
Bill served in the Ohio Army National Guard for four years.
He was preceded in death by his first wife of 40 years, Judith (Oliver) St. Clair;and sister, Joanne Starcher;
He is survived by his wife of 12 years, and devoted caregiver Jeanine (Neuhart) St. Clair of the home; children, Timothy St. Clair of South Zanesville, Kelly (Jay) Ball of Chandlersville, Bradley (Debbie) St. Clair of Chandlersville, Julie (Scott) Caldwell of Dresden, Ohio Traci (Brian) Wisth of Springdale, AR, Brian Neuhart of Cambridge, and Kimberly (Michael) Leonard of Zephyrhills, FL; 13 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren
He is also survived by his sisters, Eva (Everett) Gordon of Zanesville and Dorothy (Lonnie) Stephen of Cumberland, Ohio.
Bill was employed by Time Warner Cable for 35 years. Upon his retirement Bill embarked on his true passion of woodworking. As the proprietor of Sycamore Creek Custom Woodworking.
As an active member of the Freeland Valley Antique Power Club, his display of his antique tractors and dozer were an anticipated feature every year.
Visiting hours will be 2pm - 4pm and 6pm - 8pm Wednesday, August 15 at Mock-Miller Funeral Home, 63 West Main, New Concord, OHIO.
Funeral will be held Thursday, August 16 at 11am at Maranatha Bible Church, 2400 Chandlersville Rd, Zanesville, with Pastor Joel Owens officiating.
Bill will be laid to rest at Mt. Zion Cemetery directly following the funeral services.
