William August came from Germany to Iowa in 1886. Family history says he had half brothers there, but we have no trace of who they may have been. He is my great gradfather. would appreciate any other info from anyone. His son Charles F Was my granddad. The entire family William and wife moved from Iowa to South Dakota. to homestead..
