Looking for information on John Staff, born abt.1853 in Norfolk, England. He married my great great grandmother Harriet Mary Ann Harmer, born 1857 in Stalham, Norfolk, England. She was the widow of Richard Hazel, born 1859 in Barton Turf. Richard died in 1881 so marriage took place between 1881 and 1888 when the immigrated to the US. That's about all the info I have on him, and it may be an impossibility. He's not a direct ancestor, but his marrying my 3rd great grandmother and bringing her to the US enabled me to exist. Had she not brought her daughter, Constance Mary to the US, she would not have met and married into the Holmes family. So, I would like to learn about him.
