I have information on My grandfathers Stai family lineage going back as far as 6 generations to Ole Olsen my gr. gr. gr. gr. grandfather born on Smee farm Foberg, Oppland , Norway 29 Dec. 1745 to present lineage. What information would you like from me if any? I will be happy to pass on what I know, the information was gathered by Boyd Leuenberger who is my third cousin, who created the genealogy for Stai families of Minnesota. The families were large, and they went on to create more large families so there are alot of people interconnected , many related if even distantly. Many more beyond this genealogy also possibly distantly related, and probably all from the same area of Norway.
