Is anyone here researching this family? Many years ago I received a handwritten chart from an elderly cousin who stated that George (and wife Suzan Handley) were the parents of Nancy Stalcup who married my GGGF John K. Young as his second wife. She died in Ripley Co., MO in 1850. There are several trees on ancestry.com about George, but none of them record a daughter named Nancy born 1814.

thank you for you prompt response.And as far as i know he was my father and his father was ROGER LEE STALCUP married to my gradmother VIRGINIA ANNE FISHER had two children , ROGER and PATSY.my grandparents divorced and ROGER LEE lived in Lubbock,TX with his wife and more children. not for sure how many or names.

Roger. I photographed every tombstone in this cemetery to assist in tracking genealogy. I just couldn't think of any reason to leave out just one photo, can you.

Hello everyone. I am hoping someone can help me link my Great Grandmother to the rest of her family. I have found her listed as Frankie, Francis and Franka. She was born in North Carolina. Her father was born in Virginia and her mother in Tennessee, but I cannot find their names. Frankie married Cleveland Williams and they resided in Waynesville, NC. Thank you everyone!

Does anyone have access to the Earl Jones book that would be willing to do some look-ups for me? I'm looking for information on Isaac Stalcup (1826-1881) of Crooked Creek, MO. Also, his son Robert Lee Stalcup (1867-1948), and Robert Lee's son and daughter Chester and Letha (along with a rumored first wife/daughter). I'm wondering if my dad Robert and myself actually show up in the book, too. Would it be possible to arrange to have the actual pages scanned or copied that contain the information I'm looking for, too?

I'm looking for any information on Robert Lee Stalcup (11/27/1868 - 3/12/1948) and his wife Minnie Virginia Sutton (5/6/1876 - 2/11/1956), as well as anything on Chester A and Leatha, their children. I know he was from the Crooked Creek area of MO, and somehow ended up in the Blair, NE area. 1900 census shows Robert and Minnie in Blair, NE. 1910 census shows him, his wife, and children Chester A and Leatha living in Montezuma, CO. 1920 shows them back in Blair, NE.

Chester is my grandfather, and I know very little about him, so any help is appreciated.

although I am not related to any of your surnames,I am curious about the name Glaphrey. My wife's great grandmother and gggrandmother had this first name. Do you know if it is Dutch,German,English,Cherokee or whatever? We have been doing genie 15 years,but have only seen the name one or two other places. Thank you for your input. Our older Glaphrey was born in Tn c1805 according to 1850 census of Washington County Ar. All clues are appreciated. Thanks. Francis
