Virginia E. Stanczyk
1932-2004
Virginia E. Stanczyk, 73, of Cheyenne died Aug. 11 at United Medical Center-West after
a long illness. She was born May 12, 1932, in Loup City, Neb. She had been a resident
of Cheyenne all her life.
She retired from the state of Wyoming.
She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral and a member of the Bishop's Guild. She
enjoyed skiing and traveled to many parts of the world.
She is survived by sisters, Ruth Thacker of Boise, Idaho, Arlene Stanczyk of Thornton,
Colo., and Judy Nation of Cheyenne; brothers, Don Stanczyk of Seabring, Fla., Norman
Stanczyk of Loveland, Colo., Roman Stanczyk of Englewood, Colo., and Joe Stanczyk
of Wall Lake, Mich; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roman and Mary Stanczyk; and two
brothers,Arnold Stanczyk and Del Stanczyk.
Rosary service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Schrader Chapel.
Funeral Liturgy will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Cathedral with Rev. Gary J.
Ruzicka as the celebrant.
Interment will be in Olivet Cemetery.
