John KALAFUT if he was born in A-H time he would have come thru a port as Janos KALAFUT.
Have you tried finding his manifest, state marriage application, church marriage record, draft registration form, naturalization petition, SS-5Form? One of those documents should have his precise place of birth.
www.ellisislandrecords.org
www.surnamenavigator.org
http://ssdi.rootsweb.com
http://genforum.com

Ties to the kalafut family

I have been reading all of your history and I have noticed a number of marriages to the Kalafut family throughout the years.Stephen Stansilav married Catherina Kalafut daughter of Andreas Kalafut. Katherine Kalafut was also mentioned...and Anna Kalafut Hiznay had the daughter Mary Stanislaw....With such close ties to the Kalafut family I was wondering if you had some photos and stories that you would like to share from all of your research of the Kalafut family. My name is Richard Thomas Kalafut jr. 43 years of age and from chicago. I never knew anyone one of the Kalafut side of the family ..because my grandfather passed before I was born and my grandmother never talked about that side of the family. I do know my grandfathers name was John Kalafut born August 17th...but that is about it. If you can share anything I would greatly appreciate it.

Stanislaw Juskiewicz and Jozefa Dembinska

I recently found out that Stanislaw Juskiewicz and Jozefa Dembinska were married in St. Anthony of Padua Church in Jersey City,N.J.
The marriage took place on January 13,1909. I also found out that Stanislaw two sisters' Marianna and Felixa Juskiewicz also got married at St. Anthony's Church too.
If someone can tell me where their port of entry was I would be so very greatful. My cousin and I have tried so many areas in our research, we are exhausted!

Hello,

Lucy Ellen Green's first husband was John B. Stanislaus. As far as I know they didn't have any children and he pasted away shortly after they married. I did see a family tree out there Mayfield-Thomason that has pictures of Lucy and her family.

Check with my family tree at RootsWeb ( http://www.rootsweb.com > and type in the name Bellej, Belej, Belejcak, or Bellejcak.
