James Stannard is my 3XGGrandfather born c 1808 possibly Essex. He married Susannah Pain on 13 Nov 1826 at Dovercourt all saints, Essex. I have hit the proverbial brick wall now. I believe his father was also called James and married to a Mary Coppinger. James died in 1841, so cannot be found in any census. Please if anyone has any hint of info get back to me. Thankyou
