In the process of researching my g-g-g-grandfather, James Pryor of Tennessee, I learned that on of James' granddaughters, Mary Ellen Pryor born 9/15/1862 d. 7/18/1940 married Jefferson Thompson Engler and had a daughter named Pearl Maud Engler who married a man named Andrew C. Stanphill and had two ons named Ira and Stewart Stanphill.

One of my all time favorite gospel songwriters was named Ira Stanphill and I was wondering if anyone knew if this might be the same man. Ira Stanphill is not that common of a name.
