I have come into possession of a token either to or from Moses A. Stare. Handwritten in this item is information linking to Decatur, Macon Co. Illinois and the date October 23, 1860.

I have discovered in research that Moses A. Stare was a CPL (corporal) and that he deserted the 41st Illinois Infantry Regiment Co. A on August 5, 1861.

I would really love to know more about this gentleman, as well as confirm both the handwriting and/or images of this person.
