Abraham STARKS (ca. 1775 - 1815) m. 10 Mar. 1800, Bloomfield, Ontario Co., NY, Arabella SPERRY (1 Feb. 1784, Alford, Berkshire, MA - 7 Mar. 1862 [or d. 1867, Trumbull Co., OH, or Hillsdale Co., MI?]) dau/o Moses SPERRY & Sarah Mc[C]LEOD. Abraham & Arabella also lived in Monroe Co., NY. In 1860, Arabella was of Hillsdale Co., MI, aged 77, with Enoch, 59. In 1870, Enoch was of Leelanau Co., MI, with Jane, 54.

Nathaniel Rochester (6 Aug. 1812 - 1880+) of Tioga Co., PA, 1850, 1860, 1870 with wife Hannah. Nathaniel, 66, NY NY NY, was of Jackson, Tioga, PA, 1880. Only other STARKS of Tioga were Alvin, 25, & wf. Sarah, 21. Could Alvin be Alvah, b. 1850?

Minerva STARKS (4 Sep. 1832*, Buffalo, Erie Co., NY - 30 Oct. 1923, Keeneyville, PA) was dau/o Marrilla GREEN & Rochester STARKS. When she was six, her parents moved to Little Marsh, Chatham, known as Starks Corners. She m. 1850, Perry SHORT (19 Nov. 1822 - 30 Sep. 1896). They had, in Tioga Co., PA:
Asa, b. 1851, d. inf.
Ellen V., 7 in 1860, Mrs. E. W. WEST of Keeneyville in mother's obit.
Perry (1855 - 13 Oct. 1893, 5 in 1860, Chatham, Tioga, PA)
Morris (20 Feb. 1857 - 3 July 1903) m. Lydia, b. Apr. 1865.
Grandchildren of Minerva: Mrs. Maude BADMORE of Bath, Mrs. Edna COLEGROVE of E. Farmington, & Miss Ellen STARK of Sayre.
