Emma: It was great to hear from you!! I have been trying to unravel the Richard "Dick" Stark Short and Elizabeth situation for a long time. I saw a similar message from someone in the Short family using the ID 10496 and sent a message. That person had not been logged on for a long time. The information I provided came from my g-Aunt Dora back in 1978. But back then I was not working on the ancestry all that much because I should have tried to get more details. George W Stark is actually George Washington Stark. No clue where the middle name came from. The dna results link my family line back to James Stark of Stafford, VA in 1730. James originally came from Glasgow, Scotland. It could go back to the 1520's, but there is a lot of controversy on that by historians. I am retired and live in CA. You can contact me direct at lestar@rocketmail.com. Thanks for the prompt reply. Yours truly, Leroy (Lee) Stark
