COLUMBUS, Ohio – There will be a funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday at the F.D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home for Russell Starks, 57, formerly of Youngstown, Ohio who departed this life Saturday, March 14, 2009, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
Mr. Starks was born Dec. 24, 1951 in Youngstown, a son of William O. and Bessie Jordan Starks.
He was a car detailer for Dick’s Master Ford for 11 years.
He leaves his wife, the former Cheryl Briskey of Youngstown, whom he married Aug. 8, 1993; children, Roslyn Wright of Columbus, Jerries Starks, Blianca Starks and Shana Starks, all of Youngstown; stepchildren, Marc and Lydeshea Briskey, both of Youngstown; brothers, Leroy Starks and Richard Jackson, both of Youngstown and Norman Starks of Jacksonville, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Viewing will be Thursday, March 19, 2009 from noon to 4 p.m. at the funeral home
