I believe your John Henry was the son of James Anderson Statzer who married Margaret J Leonard. He was the son of Martin Statzer and Eliza Ann Booher. We have a My Family Website with all the Statzer/Statser information from Martin Statzer and Catharine Lindamood who were Martin, Jr's parents. You may email me directly. I'm sorry to tell you that Aniece is no longer with us. We are having a Statzer Reunion July 19-22 in Lebanon Virginia. You are welcome to come.

Nelda Rogers
Hurst, TX

I have fuzzy info that traces our line to Virginia 1700's. However, hard facts are only to John Henry Statzer 1880-1952, born in Bristol ,VA/TN. His father may have been John Quincy Statzer or related to James. Does that connect to you? Anxious to hear from you !

FACKLER Grove Cemetery, Iowa

Looking for anyone with relatives buried in the Fackler Grove Cemetery in Big Grove Township, Johnson County, IA. Supposedly this cemetery has been abandoned so am interested in finding descendants of those buried there who might want to try to "ressurect" the cemetery. I am the great-great granddaughter of Frederic and Elizabeth Vornholt who are buried there (along with their son, William, my great-grandfather).

Also, looking for Nadine Allen who posted info on Valentine Fackler on this list back in 2000 but whose email address no longer works. Valentine and Frederic (along with Rudolf Statser) are on the same census page in 1850. Some Statser's are also buried at Fackler Grove Cemetery.
