Marie Catherine Ste-Marie

Trying to confirm who this person married in Nov 1817 as I found gencom databases listed two different men.

What i know about her.
Born in Lapraire abt 1788 to Jean Baptiste Ste-Marie and Marguerite Beauvais. Her parents were married Jan 29 1776. All the daughters in this family begin there name with Maria, therefore she might also be listed as Catherine Ste-Marie.

What I want to know
Was she married to Jean Baptiste Denault(SP). If yes, do you know when and where there son Jean Baptiste was born. The second John Baptiste married Sophia Babeau in 1845 in Lapraire.

I have some St. Marie family information and I had two great-Uncles in LA. Amie died in 1953 and Adrian died in 1966. They come from a family from Gentilly, MN and Canada.

Not sure if you can help with my request, I am searching for info on the Ste.Marie family of Laprairie, Quebec.My 4th great grandmother was Osithe Ste. Marrie married to Joseph Leblanc on Feb 12, 1827 in Laprairie, Quebec.Joseph Leblanc
was the son of Pierre Hilaire Leblanc & Marie Catherine Granger, however I require the parents of Osithe to complete research on this line.Any bit of info would be most helpful.

Emerence Ste-Marie married Louis Poissant and they had a child Helene Poissant married January 30, 1872 in the Catherdral Church of Montreal.
