I am looking for my Dads side of my family.
Our surname is steadman and i know the family at some point before the early 1800's moved to england. I have no names prior to my grandad as i cant get the information.
I am also looking for the name of Coyle.
My great grandfather was from yorkshire but was moved to london as a baby, he and his sister where then adopted, Thier birth names where Coyle, My G-gradads name was Edward Issac Coyle, He married Grace Marsden, I dont know the year.
They died with a few years of each other, Grace died around 1988 - 1989 and Eward (Ted) around 1990 - 1991.
As far as i can get with Steadman is that my grandfather who died around 1980 was Brian Peter Steadman, of london, He was married to Molly Coyle and had 3 children, Rober John, Peter Brain and Ann.
Ann had 2 children, Natasha and Lee, Peter Had a daughter in 1986 named Sheena, and Robert had me, Kirsty Louise Grace.
Im pretty sure that Louise was Brians mother her married name would have been Steadman but i dont know her madien name?
Can anyone help, Does anyone have these names in thier family tree of may have come across them else where.
