I am researching the family tree. My Steadman ancestors lived in the mid 1800's to present in the hendersonville NC area, and upperstate SC. I would like to trace the family roots from 1870 and back to Europe or England. My great grandfather was McKinney Steadman of Hendersonville NC area. If anyone can give me any information, I would appreciate it and be willing to share what I know as well.
