Did Ninian Steele marry Jane Locke five days after the death of his mother Agnes Graham? Info I've seen for Agnes gives the death of Agnes as 24 Jul 1793, and info I've seen for Jane Locke gives the date of her marriage to Ninian as 29 Jul 1793. It seems kind of soon to go from funeral to wedding. Unless it was to legitimize a child's birth. My 2nd great grandfather Ninian Steele was born in 1793, and I believe Jane Locke to be his mother. Can any Ninian researchers help me to sort this out?
