I am anxious to make contact with any Steet family members in Australia who may be interested in the history of William Thomas Steet, Sarah Topping, James William Weedon (from VIC) and his first wife Elizabeth Nottle(from SA). I am particularly interested in establishing a group who may be interested in restoring William and Sarah' grave at the Melbourne General Cemetry. They are in a state of total disrepair and are only dirt with no markings. There are five Steet family members in this particular grave. I have been gathering information for approx. 10 years. I have a site on Roots Freepages (only just established). This site is concentrating on the Steet/ Weedon connection. My Great Granparents were Jane Weedon and William Steet 2nd(in AUS).
