I am looking for information on Michael Steinhauer born in Hlebrow, Wougrowith, Poznan, Germany approx. 1820's. He was a schoolmaster. He had 23 children by two wives. First wife unknown, second wife, Anna Elizabeth Wendt, born July 25, 1827, died April 16, 1904 in Eau Claire, WI.

John Emil Steinhauer, 1845-1920, is the only known son of Michael Steinhauer and unknown first wife. John Emil married Anna Setz. Three infant girls were born and died in Ohio. Three sons were born in Eau Claire, WI and also died as infants. A fourth son, Otto, was born in Eau Claire, Aug 25, 1882.

Michael Steinhauer and second wife, Anna, have two know children, Pauline Steinhauer (Beller)1852-1932 and Louis John Steinhauer 1863-1952.
