Searching for information on Wilhelm Steinkamp who married Anna Margaretha Kohring before 1840 in Prussia. He died between 1848 and 1852 in St. Louis, Missouri. They had children (at least) Wilhelm F. (b 1840); Johan Heinrich W. (b abt 1844); Carl Heinrich ( b 1848) and possibly Fredericke (b ca 1844) all born in Prussia. I believe they came to America ca 1851 - but again, Wilhelm was deceased by 1852. At that time she remarried to August Ludwig Wilhelm Waltke and they had one surviving child: Louis. After Anna's death Wilhelm (William) remarried to the widow of his step-son Johan Heinrich (known as Henry) who was Hanne Frederika Schwidde. "Rika" and William did not have any children.
