Searching for the descendants of Johann Paul Stephan who married Elizabeth Hahn(1817 - 1870) in 1840, Vanderburgh County, IN. They had 5 children Conrad, Henry, Margaret, Burkhardt, and John.
A relative of Johann Paul Stephan was Burghardt Stephan (perhaps a brother). Burghardt emigrated in 1849 and purchased land from Johann Paul in 1871. Then in 1874, Burghardt sells the land to Conrad Stephan and moves to White County IL.
