I am looking for information on a David E. Stpehenson, born in Alabama aound 1835-36, married to Amanda E. (Clark?) from South Carolina. They were living in York County, South Carolina according to the 1870 census with their children Dawkins C., Jefferson D., Mary Jane, Elizabeth, Sarah, and Emma.
I would appreciate any information anyone can give me.
He is possible a descendant of a David Stephenson born in 1795 but can find no proof.
