Classification: Query
Surnames: STEWART STUART DUNCAN
Looking for anyone with information on the above. He was last confirmed as living at Burnside of Meadaple near Fyvie, Aberdeenshire and working as a farm servant. I have reason to believe he may have been the father of my GG grandfather James Stuart/Stewart (1862 - 1930). I believe he died sometime between 1892 and 1930 and is listed as being a police officer although no confirmation if this was in the Aberdeen area or elsewhere.

I understand his parents were a James Stewart and a Christian Duncan from Aberdeenshire.

The name seems to have switched between Stewart and Stuart spellings at a whim.

Any information would be welcome.
