Charles "Chuck" Raymond Steyer Jr., 46, Greenview, died July 12, 2002, at Lake Regional Health Systems, Osage Beach.
He was born April 16, 1956, in St. Louis, a son of Charles Raymond, Sr. and Delores J. McCullough Steyer. His mothers survives in St. Louis. He was married Aug. 7, 1992, to Kim Danford, who survives at the home.
He was raised in the St. Louis area and graduated from Linbergh High School. For 12 years, he was employed by the St. Louis Parks Department. After he and Kim were married, they moved to the Lake of the Ozarks, where he was employed by the Sunrise Beach Postal Service.
Other survivors include: one daughter, Erica Danford, of the home; one son, Tyler Ross, of the home; one sister, Deborah McShane of Corpus Christi; and his grandfather, Lowell McCullough, St. Louis.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Lakewood Park Cemetery in Affton. A memorial service will be July 27 at Stoney Brook River House; friends should contact his wife regarding arrangements.
