Orlu A. Steyer, 94, Salina, died Saturday, May 20, 2000, at Salina Regional Health Center.
Mrs. Steyer was born Orlu A. Kime on Dec. 4, 1905, at Unadilla, Neb., and was a resident of Salina for 11 years, moving from Fort Collins, Colo. She was a teacher at Cook, Neb., from 1924 to 1926, owned and operated a pastry shop at Hastings, Neb., with her husband, and owned and operated a Dairy Mart at Loveland, Colo. She was a member of Belmont Christian Church and C.W.F., both of Salina.
Her husband, Lloyd F., died in 1995.
Survivors include a son, Glen of Salina; a daughter, Louann Joyce of Clinton, Mass.; and three grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Belmont Christian Church, the Rev. Dennis Patience officiating. Cremation will follow the service.
Memorials may be made to Belmont Christian Church or Colorado Christian Home, 2950 Tennyson St., Denver COO 80212-3029.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Geisendorf-Rush Smith Funeral Home, 401 W. Iron, Salina 67401, and 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
