My GGGrandfather was hubbard stickney, born in VT. 1818, Married juresha mcKenney. in NY, lived in Essic Co. NY Mariah
They had a boy named Heiland who died at Gettyysburg, (1850 censis # 317) says the 2nd child was Phebe Ann. My mom says the name was Fillian and my GGrandfather was Henry Kirk Stickney B. 1881 NY I don't know when they moved to MI but lived in Wexford Co. Wexford Township MI. If your Stickney family is in MI it would seem there would be some connection. Hope you can help me. PS my neighbor is also a Stickney but we have not found any common branch.
