Leopold was born ? in Homberg Germany and by 1861 Naturalised and resident in London. (he was already here by 1857 Marrying Anna-Maria Johnson in London)
Any information on how to find his antecedents would be welcome
Subsequent generations of the family are available in detail (he had 13 children)

Leo Stiebel

I'm looking for information on my father's family. My grandfather was Leo Stiebel. Leo married Elsa Wolf. They were born in the 1890s, I believe.
My father was born in Germany, and I think my grandfather was, as well.
When they came to this country in the 1930s, they changed their name to Stevens.

Any information would be appreciated.

I'm trying to find out about my ancestors from Stockholm named Stiebel. My great-grandfather was David (?) Stiebel who married Selma Levy and had two children, Lillian (b.1898) and Leon (b. 1897). He had emigrated from Stockholm in the late 19th century.
