I am looking for an official military document stating Abraham Stobaugh served in the Rev. War. I have searched Footnote to no avail. At Ancestry, I found him listed in the database Abstracts of Graves of Revolutionary Patriots. His name is also on a monument in Forest Hills Cemetery, Putnam County, IN, erected by the DAR. I did find several books, at Google, which had references to Abraham. His Rev War service is mentioned among other information. All good clues, but I want documents. Where can I find them?
