I have searched the shis passenger list high and low, but no Stocks. There is a cemetery near Boonville, MO. with fifty or more Stocks in it. In fact it appears they are about one quarter of the population there. Did they use a German name and then change it to Stock? I am looking for the ship theey came over on. William born about 1808 and Herman born 1835. Both were born in Saxe Wimies or Mimies. They appear on the 1860 census page 484, roll # 616 of Cooper CO. MO.
