I thought I'd post my Stockdale surname interests. My great-great-aunt Mabel Booth married a Reginald Stockdale in Preston, Lancashire in 1906. I believe he made a name for himself in Mauritius as a telegraph engineer for the railway system. I believe Mabel and Reginald had 3 sons, Reginald Booth Stockdale, Kenneth Stockdale and James Stockdale, probably all born in Mauritius (or en-route).

It would be interesting to hear from any relations.
