Surnames: STOCKTON, BITLER, SHAFER
Looking for information on ancestors of Edward H. STOCKTON, b. 22 Jun 1850 in St Johns, OH, d. 10 Feb 1910 in Union Twp, Auglaize Co, OH. m. Dora J. SHAFER (b.1865 Fairfield Co, OH, d. 1927 Lima, Allen Co, OH).
Edward's death certificate lists his parents as E. H. STOCKTON (birthplace unknown) and Mary BITLER (birthplace America). I can find no such parents in Census records, and no record of Edward prior to 1900 when he resides in Union Twp, Auglaize Co, OH. Any assistance would be appreciated.
