Looking for any information on the families of John (b. abt 1809) and Michael (b. abt 1807) in Germany. Originally they came to the Pittsburgh PA area then moved to Noble/Monroe county Ohio. Some returned to Western PA (both Allegheny and Beaver counties). Some family members went to Sonoma county California.
John and Michael lived within 2 farms of each other in Ohio, but I don't know their relationship to each other. (brothers?, cousins?) Some of the family used the name Stoffel, others Stoffal (in both John and Michael's families).
Can anyone help? Will share what I have.
