Surnames: STEINKOENIG/STEINKONIG/STONEKING/STONKING/WINGO/CUMBERLEDGE/WILLEY/SHAW/YOUNG/STANDARD/JUSTUS/JUSTICE
Jacob STEINKOENIG came to America on the Vernon Bilander Ship in Aug 1747, not 1717. The Indian Marriage has not been proven as far as we know. It's been family lore down through the years. The name was angalized after 1747 to STONEKING. We've been waiting for someone to find the proof. Jacob STEINKOENIG came from Germany and proof has been found there as has his father's name.

Jacob II was our Rev War Vet. I have that information as I had to research it for my DAR acceptance. My father on back on the paternal side have all been STONEKING men. We come from Jacob's (the R. W. V.) first wife, unknown, and son Joseph D. Sr., son George W., son Andrew, son Jesse, son Bennie E., and me, Kathleen L. (STONEKING) Cooper. If I can be of help email me at mscutnsew@msn.com.
