1930 Oct 6 - OBITUARY - “ASHVILLE MAN ANSWERS CALL: George W. Stonerock, Aged 68, Dies From Heart Trouble Sunday. Heart trouble casued the death Sunday at 10:15 a. m. [of George] Washington Stonerock, aged 68, at his home in Ashville, after an illness of three months.
Mr. Stonerock was born in Williamsport, Feb 15, 1862, the son of Henry and Julia Ann Pace Stonerock. He married in May, 1881, to Eva Bartley of South Bloomfield, and had been a resident of this county all his life.
He is survived by the following children: James Stonerock, Scioto Twp.; Virgil Stonerock, Columbus; Lawrence Stonerock, RFD 4; one daughter, Mrs. Anna Schlegler, this city; two step-daughters, Mrs. Belle Haffey of Ashville, and Mrs. Fannie Fowler, of Stoutsvill; his wife, Eva Stonerock; one sister, Mrs. Anna Buzzard, of Ashville, and one brother, Melvin Stonerock of Darbyville.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:30pm in the U.B. church at Ashville, with the Pastor, Rev. Hamspire, officiating. Burial will be in South Bloomfield cemetery, conducted by M. S. Rinehart, funeral director. 1932 Feb 25 - OBITUARY - “STONEROCK RITES FRIDAT AT 2:30: Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:30 p. m. at the Soith Bloomfield M. E. church, Rev. O. L. Ferguson officiating, for Mrs. Eva Stonerock, 349 Walnut-st, who died Wednesday of complications. Interment will be in the Harrison twp cemetery by M. S. Rinehart.
Mrs. Stonerock was a native of Sidney, being born May 10, 1851, a daughter of Henry and Elizabeth Barley. She was twice married, first to Kuhn Roese, then to George Stonerock, both preceded her in death.
Surviving are the following children. James Stonerock at whose home she died, Virgil Stonerock of Cloumbus, Mrs. Anna Schlegler, this city. Lawrence Stonerock, this city and two daughters by her first marriage Mrs. Isaac Fowler, of near Stoutville and Mrs. Belle Haffey, this city. Thirty-three grandchildren and 35 great-grand-children survive.

1932 Feb 25 - ESTATE NOTICE - “STONEROCK ESTATE: George W. Miller of Darbyville has been appointed administrator of the estate of the late Melvin Stonerock in probate court.
The estate is estimated to be worth $1,000. E. W. Beatty, Howard Miller and J. N.
