I am researching my Stoughton family. Rev. War record of Gustavus Stoughton lists Southington CT as birthplace 1763-said he had no record of birth. Enlisted in the war in Lenox MA. After war, Allegheny U Henesburgh VT, Lutten, Lower CAN, died in Chazy, Clinton, NY. Record had witnesses-brother Levy and sister Roxanna Stoughton Stearns.
