Paula,thanks for the info you sent. I have not been able to confirm for sure that william was the father of my grandfather thomas. I live in Texas and it is hard to find anything out via the internet. I really need to get myself to circleville so that I can do some hands on research.My grandmother was harriet wilkes but have not been able to find out who her parents were either. I guess i should have started this sooner while some of my relatives who would have this information were still alive. Any info you might have on the strawser side would be greatley appreciated. I will send you any info on the stouts if I come across any in my search. Yes. it is nice to know that I have more relatives also.I don t get on the internet much as I work about 58 hours a week.I guess i had better wind this up. thanks, curt
