Classification: Query
Surnames: stovall, mattox
Hi everyone,
I am looking for any information about black stovalls in/around elberton GA. I have just re-started my search in this area. My mother's name is carrie stovall mattox, her father's name was S.A. stovall and her mother's name was louise (mattox) stovall. I can not find any info on S.A. He died at 47 in Elberton. She is still living and is 83 years old. My mother was the youngest and the only daughter. The sons were: james olgesby, fletcher, everdee (eddie), and johnny stovall. I think they all were born in elberton (or abouts) and lived in detroit, where all of the sons died.
Anything would be appreciated.
Peace and blessings
