I was wondering if any Stracener researcher has found that some of the Stracener family members claimed to be "Black Dutch"? If you have never heard of this term, in most cases it refers to German/Indian mixed blood. They claimed to be "Black Dutch" to avoid being persecuted by the whites because they were of Indian mixed blood. I hope to hear from other researchers that have come across this info.
